The Allurion Connected scale is a smart scale that automatically sends your weight entry into the Allurion app so you can easily monitor your weight. The scale also calculates the body composition (BMI, BMR, Lean Body Mass and Body Fat %) by using bioelectric impedance analysis through your feet.
Please follow these steps to connect the scale to the app:
***Please confirm you are on the latest version of the operating system of your phone in the settings, and visit App Store or Play Store to confirm you are on the latest version of our app. Make sure that you are using the app with your account only on one phone at a time, so the connection is not interrupted.
Connection steps:
1. Open your phone’s settings > Applications > Allurion > confirm that the Bluetooth and Location permissions are enabled for the Allurion App as “Always Allow” or "Allow when using the app"
2. If there are any devices with Bluetooth nearby (phone, tablet, etc), please turn them off or set them on Airplane Mode prior to trying to connect your scale so the connection is not interrupted
3. Check the batteries in the scale, remove them and put them back in, or replace if the batteries are old
4. Make sure the scale is placed on a firm, flat surface with weight evenly distributed, and you step on the scale with bare feet without socks
5. Please open the application and have your phone close to you while on the scale.
6. Continue standing on the scale until it runs full cycle and the data will automatically sync to your app. You do not need to connect the scale in the Bluetooth settings on your phone as the connection should activate automatically when you stand on the scale.
